I am not a prude nor am I easily shocked but this year has made me question my reason for watching BB in the future.

In the past we all got great pleasure from the silly tasks, the stupidity of certain acts committed by HM's, The odd argument and of course the bitchfest that comes with being locked up with a bunch of handpicked lowlifes and weirdo's.

This year has gone way to far to the left for me. Ok Helen has given us some hammer the TV moments and the evicted have shown us some really nasty and unfathomable acts of attrition that beggar belief, but when we look at whats happening with Steven and Kimberly and whats now emerging with Mark and Christopher, have BB allowed the show to disintegrate into a show unfit for human consumption.

I understand that sex and its viewing attraction has its place in a program like this.but this years mob are weird and make viewing uncomfortable. The worst of which is the controlling nature of Steven towards Kimberly and what message he sends our younger viewers. However on the other side of the coin, Kimberly is promoting 2 or even 3 different feelings. Is she subservient, is she willing and is she maybe even promoting rinsing techniques.

You can make a case for nearly every house mate and what they are promoting isnt making me feel very good about watching this program anymore. I am totally convinced that they wont rest till thise gang of producer numpties break boundaries and it becomes the norm to see fights, rapes, sexual acts and kinky fetishes being played out for our viewing pleasure.

My wife wont watch now until Steven or Kimberly get evicted as she is convinced they are both despicable human beings and make her feel sick. This is a different feeling from hating a HM and wanting them out. These 2 are invoking different emotions that just feel plain wrong.

Not at all this is tame to BB5 where there was actual fighting and sex remember. I cant see how you think BB would allow fighting and rape? Honestly...Rape?

When it came to Helens behaviour towards Jale I think the housemates behaviour towards Sam in BB6 was far worse.

It seems these days people are very prudish about Big Brother hence why its the most complained show pretty much every year now in spite of it getting relatively low viewers.

The fact is these events are going on in the house, BB didn't make them have sex they didn't even show Mark and Christopher kissing.

The housemates are responsible for their own actions and nothing the producers have done has been offensive but the housemates behaviours themselves which is solely down to them.

I honestly don't know why people have become more pc when it comes to BB, most shows evolve but BB has been the opposite its gone from controvercial and loved to treading on eggshells and loathed.

I think BB need to go back to basics and have housemates who are considered normal, housemates who are genuine, maybe they should remove the prize and do it as an experience, maybe set it out as a commune, I think the type of housemates now are fame *****s, willing to do anything for fame. I must admit Kimberly and Steven make me feel very uncomfortable, I don't want to see them kissing or fondling under the duvet, it's not because I'm a prude it's because it's not genuine, Steven is controlling, arrogant and possessive, I can't work Kimberly out, it would make my day if one of them went on Monday.

Perhaps I'm being overly sensitive but I think it's useful to remember who owns C5 and therefore BB. He also runs that borderline sexist rag the daily star and I think he also publishes a number of porn mags so I think it makes sense that BB has become lowest common denominator rubbish because that's how the boss sees the world-one step down from Jeremy Kyle t.v viewers.
