I agree totally with your post Niamh.

I go further however,I am normally hesitant for any action against other human beings but this is ridiculous, they can take decent people from other Nations from wherever they are and what they are doing and they have threatened to do so in the UK too.
They then play with them like a cat with a mouse,showing no mercy,reasoning or compassion whatsoever and then they publicly humiliate them in videos presented to the World at the point of their murdering them in truly barbaric ways.

I am sorry but this is now 2 British and 2 American hostages taken and brutally murdered too now, if the other Nations will not seek them out and destroy them then someone has to by whatever means even remotely possible to do so.

They will kill any hostages they have, and token attacks on them are both useless and likely pointless.
They need to wiped out of existence and removed from the Earth and I now really don't care how it is done,as long as it gets done and far faster than what is taking place now too.

I never thought I would see the day I would be saying all this but these vile rotten creatures ,if they got a strong foothold all over the Middle East, would care nothing as to how they got rid of any people that didn't agree with them and conform to their ways.
Neither should we or any other decent Nation that is infuriated, appalled and sickened by their evil acts.

Just get them wiped out and fast too.

..yeah I agree but I guess it's just..how to stop them, I don't agree with bombings that will kill innocents because otherwise, it makes us murderers as well and I guess it's just not known where they are...I think one of the things I don't understand is why anyone other than those who would support these atrocities would watch the vids...because surely in doing that, it's giving them what they want/the Youtube hits type thing..atm, we're all helpless to what they are doing but not watching the vids is something we can control/ I know it wouldn't happen but I would like if their was 0 hits to their evil barbaric 'displays'....

im American and i think it would be horrendous to just nuke the area like was suggested and dont agree with that at all. i hate country bashing and all have their problems. idk i just feel like a few always make subtle digs like that over the time ive been here over the years. i would hope im wrong.

Yes I agree, all Foreign aid workers from wherever should, if they can, get out of that area and return to their homelands and no more go across there either.

That is something initially that would put a halt to more hostage taking and murders of foreign citizens in that area.
Make sure our own streets here in the UK remain as safe as they can be then while these creatures remain in existence.

Joining these people as to their 'plans'I won't call it religion,is as misguided as anything else as to them.
This poor US citizen they are now threatening to murder next, has converted to Islam while being a captive.
Yet the threat of death is over him too.

They are utterly evil and every day they are left in existence they will only get worse and likely grow too.

This comes from the heart and not the head, joey. It's not that I don't get it but, as Niamh says, this group seem to be the worst and most barbaric yet...

if we go in fast, hard and by any means possible then I absolutely *guarantee* that in less than a decades time, the remnants will regroup and recruit a whole new batch of hate-fuelled youngsters who remember this and they will be worse and yet more barbaric than ISIS.

These groups need to be fought from within and ended permanently. A way needs to be found to dismantle them and most importantly their message piece by piece so that we aren't simply creating an endless supply of War-torn youngsters for them to recruit every generation. We wonder how anyone can commit such acts of barbarity but that's because we can't begin to comprehend the psychology of people who have been raised from birth in a cycle of war, death and violence. That's not excusing them - only pointing out that "shock and awe" military bombardment may end isis but it will in the end only create a new, worse batch for our children to face. you must consider where ISIS came from. It's vital.

We need to get much, much smarter when it comes to the war on terror. We are failing miserably in our ham fisted juggernaut military tactics.

They are a tumor, and that tumor needs to be removed with a scalpel and pinpoint precision. You can't lose your head and try to smash it to pieces with a hammer.

You are right Toy Soldier, I have indeed lost some reasonable thinking as to these'things'.
My patience and any willingness now to even try to understand anything they do or hope to achieve is well gone.
I cannot recall an issue as to events that have made me so angry and more quick tempered as to same.

I would have no hesitation at all in supporting any move against them,no matter the consequences afterwards, so it is maybe a good thing I don't have any say as to what is done about them really.

These videos need to be hidden from the public. ISIS want a reaction, they want to cause tensions. If the government can keep them stored somewhere safely and prevent any travels to Iraq, then we have it all sorted out tbh.

The internet makes that impossible... I was about to add "unfortunately" but I don't genuinely believe that it is, I'm against censorship in all forms and for any reason. It never has the desired effect.
