Default '7th Heaven' star Stephen Collins being investigated for child molestation
Stephen Collins, best known for his role as Eric Camden, father and pastor, on 7th Heaven, is under investigation for child molestation.

EW has confirmed that the Manhattan Special Victims Squad received a formal complaint against the actor and that the incident is currently being investigated.

Word first broke when TMZ posted the audio from a 2012 therapy session between Collins and then-wife Faye Grant, who filed for divorce that same year. In the audio, Collins admits to molesting one girl and exposing himself to others, all of whom were reportedly between the ages of 10 and 13.

I read this earlier, really sad to hear it as '7th Heaven' was one of my all-time favorite shows. Hopefully it's a false allegation like so many of these sexual assault ones are nowadays.

Its not. On the audio he clearly admits to getting a ten year old girl to touch his erect penis. He's gone from TV, been sacked from a couple of films he had parts in and we wont be hearing from him again.

Listen to the vid. Its disturbing but its only a short segment.

..yeah, really uncomfortable to listen to and it had been going on for 2/3 years with the child from listening to that..I can't believe the case was dropped 2 years ago, it was a confession, why was that not enough to charge him...he could have abused other children in that time...

Agree. Maybe his celebrity status helped him? I'm sure it did you only have to read some of the comments under the article arista posted to see there are a lot of people supporting him and making up excuses for him
