I'm literally not saying more on the matter after this post, They're horrid creatures and they should be got rid of. Not neccasarily in hunts like these, but they just need to go. Full stop.

Quite. And as far as I know, a fox has never knifed someone for a phone or a couple of quid.

It does to me

Living beings, especially animals shouldn't be punished for doing/being something that their natural instinct tells them to be/do when it comes to how they live and sustain themselves.

Yes, it's really hurt breaking watching animals be killed, I eat meat but I could never kill a animal. I won't have the heart to do it or watch.

Same here,I could never hurt one intentionally,I cringe when I accidently tread on a snail, and I always put spiders outside if I can.

If people are pro-hunting with dogs, which is what this would be, it isn't just foxes who are hunted by toffs on horseback... what about stag hunting? Are we going to stand by and let them chase a stag till it can't stand up, or its heart bursts - which would be preferable to being torn apart I guess.

This would be a retrograde step and it will never be allowed to happen.

Lambs are raised for people to eat, again, it's all a part of the cycle of life, lamb is delicious, so I'll eat it, but that's what it is bred and raised for.

Foxes are not bred for being murdered by a bunch of trigger happy rich people.

I would happily hunt second offending paedophiles with dogs or repeat rapists

In fact we should do that to lighten the load on our jails

LT, you probably eat lamb and it has probably suffered much more in the abattoir at the hands of humans than by a fox in a field and if you think that is wrong, fair enough ,but why is it ok to do it to a fox, both are sentient .

Depends where you live, anyway. If you live in/near the countryside then you'd perhaps have reason, but I highly doubt the people who want to bring back foxhunting are going to go around town centres shooting rogue foxes in people's gardens.
