They're similar-ish HMs on first impressions, both young, sexy and "controversial" (according to themselves anyway) and not really famous for doing anything proper. What made her choose Chloe over Cami then do you think? Considering Cami is American too and Katie didn't seem happy about the amount of Americans in there

Perhaps because Cami came across like she had a bit more... 'bite'? Not really sure though, Katie didn't have much time to make such judgements but it's clear she wasn't impressed by Chloe.

She probably thought that cami would blow herself out real quick but Chloe posed a threat to her winning the show. Naturally Katie is in there to get as far as she can so she is thinning out her opposition.

I genuinely think Katie was basing it on who was the 'least entertaining' hence her choices being Alexander and Chloe. She said that 'here in 2015, Alexander (he) doesn't seem to be able to speak' and she also made it clear that she thought Chloe had nothing else to her aside from her assets which was the reason she was in the house. I don't believe there's any deeper reason than that which people appear to be searching for.
