Celebrity Big Brother 2015: Katie Hopkins has her own private bedroom

Katie Hopkins has a private bedroom on Celebrity Big Brother 2015, it’s been revealed.


The celebrity housemate, thought to be getting over £400,000 for her stint, is sleeping in a private quarters.

In last night’s show we saw Katie open up to her fellow housemates about having epilepsy, that started when she was twenty.

She told Perez Hilton that she takes “loads”medication to control it but it still disrupts her sleep.

“It’s a bit broken up. Wake up, go back to sleep wake up. Go back to sleep wake up,” Katie explained.

The former Apprentice candidate told how her condition ‘just came on’ when she was younger and didn’t come about from trauma, saying that she had part of her brain “missing”.

Katie’s not the first housemate to get their own bed with former CBB housemates Latoya Jackson and Pamela Anderson also getting separate rooms for the night.

She did state she suffers with night time seizures so I have no problem with her having her own bed as it must be humiliating to have not only the housemates but millions watching.

Sleep deprivation also brings on seizures in many with epilepsy so its totally understandable.

The condition is unpredictable and can flare up throuout various times of people lives.

People often get used to the medication aswell and have to change so maybe in 2007 it was more controlled than it is now.

This is good of them to recognize her needs and give her a room of her own.

Fair enough she has her own room. As long as she doesn't get any other privileges that aren't to do with her medical conditions then it's totally fine.

excuses excuses, sorry but I don't believe that this is why she's been given a private room. I believe there were three reasons for it 1. She probably had it as a condition of going in there 2. To alienate her from her HMs to further her "baddie" image with them and 3. To annoy the viewers

They are not excuses they are facts about epilepsy.

I know about epilepsy, my niece and my nephew both had it ( I say had because my nephew seems to have grown out of it and my niece who had very severe epilepsy had brain surgery last year which seems to have cured her, fingers crossed) I just don't happen to believe katie when she says she has it

Then you can see how unpredictable it is then.

That's fine its your opinion but the fact is she does have a medical condition that affects her daily life and if someone does suffer night time seizures then they should be entitled to special treatment to make them as comfortable as possible.

Like I said aswel sleep deprivation is a trigger in people with epilepsy so if shes being kept awake in the bedroom she is being put at risk and show bosses cannot risk that so tbh it was probably more their decision to give her a private room.

I don't mean to give you a lesson about epilepsy but you cant just say someone is lying about having a medical condition lol why would she lie about having epilepsy?

So she can have a private room........... and i don't believe she lied to the producers just to her fellow HMs and us and why can't I say I think it's a lie if I do think it's a lie? I think she lies on a daily basis as part of her job so why not to get herself a private room as well?

I cant see her lying about anything as important as that. I believe she is telling the truth and she deserves her own room even if there are disbelievers amongst us. I am sure Niamh will post some kind of truth so we can all be as informed as she is.

Yes I think she might be lying about that, why is it not ok for me to think that but it is ok for me to think she lies in all the horrible bile she spews to further her "career"?

Does she drive a car I wonder? Because she wouldn't be able to do that if she was epileptic (unless she hadn't had a seizure for over a year I think
