Default Alexander heckled on Lib Dem 'Budget' by Labour MPs
Danny Alexander was heckled by opposition MPs as he has unveiled a Lib Dem alternative to George Osborne's Budget.

The Chief Secretary to the Treasury said Wednesday's Budget had been agreed between the Liberal Democrat and Tory halves of the coalition.

The Speaker intervened several times as Labour front benchers spoke over the cabinet member, who was warned not to make party political statements.

I like Danny Alexander but this is wonderfully bizarre. A near empty Commons, heckling Labour MPs, an absurd yellow briefcase, a pseudo-budget, the party leader running out 15 minutes in: you couldn't make it up

I couldn't believe the yellow briefcase was real. I thought it had been photoshopped by someone when I saw that pic.
