I would trust the SNP over the Lib Dems anyday under Cleggs leadership,even under any of the other Lib Dem leading figures leading them after Clegg too.
The likes of David Laws and Norman Lamb for instance.

I won't even mention Danny Alexander because he is possibly going to even just come 3rd in his seat in in Inverness come May 7th.

Anyway who would really believe Clegg after 2010,he will do a deal with anyone if it got him another 5 years of shared power and a few Ministerial positions for some of his MPs.
Policies will again be irrelevant as to that.

Didnt someone from labour say they will not agree to a coalition? I think UKIP or Lib Dems are Labours only choice but i think UKIP may be picked because they have better plans

Labour would never ever agree to an EU referendum except in the scenario they have laid out for one themselves.

Ed Miliband could have made life a fair bit easier for himself had he promised one too but he feels it would shatter investment, and have a shadow hanging over businesses too,he has stuck rigidly to that so no way would he agree to one now for UKIP support.

If he is the largest party he will, I think, go ahead as a minority govt; and dare the SNP to vote him down,which would then open the door to the Conservatives to try to form a govt:

Were the SNP to do that,it would infuriate the SNP supporters in Scotland so I think the SNP block in Westminster would in all probability support that minority Labour govt: in the end, and get really nothing in return,except no return of a Conservative govt:

LOL. UKIP would never align with labour and vice versa. They are complete polar opposites. The ONE thing farage cares about (or cares most about ) is getting out of europe and controlling immigration..

True, it is why I could never vote UKIP, I cannot see an even fair future for the UK outside the EU and within the UK too, massive divisions from Wales and Scotland could be further generated were we to vote to leave the EU.
Which would in turn cause more chaos and likely instability within the UK,that is even before addressing the problems of how,with who and where we trade.

I believe the loss of investments to the UK would be massive and also have companies of foreign origin in the UK leaving the UK too.

This is Milibands vision of leaving the EU,and for me he is right,that really would be like a massive lurch over a cliff,with in my view, no soft landing possible at all.

Farage was convinced as early as last year that Miliband would also go down the referendun route byt he election,he hasn't,he hasn't budged an inch.
So UKIP and labour together would be a non starter in any scenario I think too.

The polls are saying things are close, they are predicting Labour and the Conservatives to have something like 280 seats each,with the SNP for instance possibly on 50.

It doesn't bear thinking about , however as you say, that could be the case.
The SNP will never support a Conservative Queens speech, they could get difficult with Labour too and refuse to back theirs,especially if Ed Miliband digs his heels in.
Nicola Sturgeon is expecting him to 'want' to work with the SNP but he doesn't change his mind much really.

As you say,in that scenario too, the only thing to do would be to have to hold another general election.
Tempers on here would likely be strained well beyond the limit.
