Default Why can't we just have a series with just new housemates?
Not really feeling the idea of old housemates returning..
Doesn't really make sense too me.

I'm still not fully sold on this to be honest, is it 100% confirmed that old housemates are going in?

Sounds stupid to me and Kind of a farce of trying to mix things up.

We do every year, I am more than up for having ex-housemates return so long as they're fully fledged housemates, if they're just guests for a task then what's the point

Tbh, it's probably Channel 5s way at clawing back old Channel 4 viewers. We supposedly have a real mix of characters and ages this year, so my guess is to keep it trend with the 'glamoured' C5 ideal of housemates, using some C4 ones to stir things up. I think it's an interesting concept but will likely go avoided to anyone other than the casual viewer. So like a million and a half viewers.

It sounds like they will be working for big brother or some task. I doubt they will be housemates and can win the show.

but they should keep them for all stars, like if they made Nikki a housemate and put her on all stars then i'm sure people will grow bored of her.

I'm not a fan of it, seems like an unnecessary gimmick. But as long as ex housemates just come in now and again and it's not a series all about them it might be ok.

I don't think that the old Housemates will be eligible to win so I'm okay with them trying to do this gimmick to keep the ratings up.

It'll be their desperate idea of trying to save the civilian version and improve ratings. It won't work.

If it's some more obscure past housemates fair enough.

But it'll be the same old Nikki Grahame's etc. Yawn. Seen it all before.

I just want to see fresh new faces....it's just a farce putting ex housemates in. Even if they go in for a task it's pointless. Let's see new characters...REAL people not people that have drawn attention to themselves on social media...just unexposed ordinary people.
