Truth! I used to never know the difference between 30FPS and 60FPS but being able to switch over and back between them in the remaster really showed me how much better it is

Well after playing Arkham Knight and Thief which was both solid Games, I went to check out Bloodborne which has received a lot of critical acclaim and praise as a great Game.

Well here is my review.

It starts off interesting with that creepy guy wanting you to sign a contract, and you get to design your own character and pick his origin which all sounds cool, but then the Game goes completely bad and backward once level 1 starts, it doesn't ease you into the Game at all, it instead puts you in with a load of enemies that are too overpowered for their own good, it doesn't listen to when you tell it to equip a weapon, and it tells you that the door is locked in the Hunter's Dream yet it's really open, plus they put an Axe (which would be really helpful against the overpowered enemies) in a really awkward corner that a lot of players would completely miss.

The Game might get better I don't know, but I shouldn't feel under this much pressure after the first level, it wasn't fun in the slightest.

Easily the most overrated Game that I've played on the PS4 so far with DriveClub being the most underrated.

Well Bloodborne is a type of spin off of that series of games and the whole point of Dark Souls is that it's extremely hard so it's that much more satisifying when you get past the bosses and that's why people love it. i haven't played Bloodborne but since it's made by the same people i can only assume it has the same type of formula. keep at it, it's supposed to be difficult.

I don't play Games that don't even help with the basics, I can accept difficulty as I just played Thief, but Bloodborne took the piss imo, and if Dark Souls is the same then I won't be playing that either.

Haha yeah, the whole point of the 'souls' games including Bloodborne is that they're supposed to be ridiculously difficult. I tried playing Demon's Souls years ago and it frustrated me too much, I haven't dared play any of the subsequent games.

Do these Games expand their stories btw? I'm trying to think of reasons why such a bad Game got so much praise that's away from the horror looking visual.

It's the Interstellar of Video Games, or shall I say Buffy The Vampire Slayer of Video Games considering that was around first and was ridiculously overrated due to the fact that it had some horror visuals and some hot guys and girls to drool over.

ah mock man, you're missing the point entirely
i love darks souls. there is no other game where i get a greater satisfaction from progressing. different strokes for different folks i guess but i love that it's insanely difficult.
and i wouldn't say it's overated. you're just pissy you can't get past the first boss. honestly man, keep at it. look up some guides on google. research it. trust me if it's anything like Dark Souls which i think it is, you'll feel so good going forward in it.

The Soul type games aren't for me. In fact I will often play games on easy as I get disinterested quickly when having to repeat levels. But it's awesome they exist and they're clearly well made, the effort that community makes in breaking those games down and discovering different aspects of them is amazing. There's nothing else quite like them.
