Also don't think he was 'undeniably goaded' given he wasn't even part of the convo that 'upset' him. He purposely tried to goad MARC actually with his 'what you going to do?!' rubbish. Then when it didn't work, he lost HIS temper and got aggressive
Yes he would have stopped. It was just built up anger that he lashed out all at once. The sandwich was brought up in the op and that was the question I was answering. Marc and Danny were equally to blame until Danny lost his temper, that's why Danny was warned and Marc was not. Danny crossed the line and needed to be warned not to repeat his actions, an ejection because of a 20 spurt would have been OTT

He threw a ****ing sandwich, more comical than dangerous.

If it lasted longer or came from nowhere, happens to that extent more often or threw something heavier, then maybe. But as it stands it was 20 seconds of shouting at a man who deserved it. A warning was appropriate.
I don't understand this fixation on the length of time that Danny was violent for.

It takes only a second to intimidate someone or hit them or throw something at them.

Dennis' spit took a tiny fraction of a second.

The fact is that Danny has now done this 3 times. Twice with Marc and once with Helen.

He simply can't control his temper and many people have been ejected for far less.

How on earth were they equally to blame? Marc didn't even say anything to Danny

You might as well not bother, people will always find a way to blame people they hate for something they didn't do

Marc did nothing.

He was having a conversation with Nick, which Nick was perfectly comfortable with, and Danny jumped in to tell Marc that he shouldn't be asking nick questions.

Marc told Danny several times, very calmly, that it was nothing to do with him. Marc didn't move from his seat. He threw nothing. He made no threats. He got in nobody's personal space.

This was all about Danny unravelling because he is a control freak who was able to control the other housemates but not Marc and Helen.

I think what really made Danny absolutely lose the plot like that was that Marc had totally rumbled his game plan and exposed it by pointing out that Danny was trying to be the house hero.

It kicked off because Marc was spot on.

No doubt Marc remembered what happened in week 2 when he very first entered and Danny started invading his personal space and telling him not to upset chloe.

Danny, in trying to be a hero, has become a zero.

My theory is, much like Belo, Danny bottled it all up. Chose a stupid moment to let it out..one of the rare moments Marc wasn't actually doing anything wrong. Tried to goad Marc into being violent himself, failed, then the frustration got to him and he snapped.

Would have been much easier if he had said what was on his mind earlier in the garden, instead of allowing Marc to shake his hand.

On a side note, the earlier argument (in the garden) was apparently because Danny can't stand people butting into other people speaking. Which is fair enough, I hate it too. But then he did the same thing to marc later on?!

Thing is, I can't accept any excuses for him any more. There is a pattern to it. He did it to marc when marc first entered. Then he did it to Helen. Then he does it to marc again.

He won't stop either. That type will do it again and again until they are ejected.

Had Danny done that to any other housemates than he would have been removed. Honestly, I can't remember anyone getting that aggressor is someone's face before.

Sadly I think he should have been removed. He has a violent streak in him and as per usual they always say they are ashamed after and won't do it again. Men like that should not be believed or trusted to control themselves. He needs to go as the idea of him possibly winning would be an abomination.

Throwing a half a sandwich is pretty lame. I mean, it's like throwing water on somebody. It's not going to actually hurt them. And Danny throws like a girl. I don't think it even hit anything.

Producers are cowards for not slinging him out-he was making repeated threats of what he was gonna do.The rest of them would soon fall apart without their daddy.

Of course Marc is bullet-proof.You throw something at him and it hits someone else!!

Absolutely right he should have been removed.
Alarm bells would be ringing for me as to Danny for sure.

The annoying thing for me is that in fact, despite his little boy lost look in the diary room getting the warning.
There was no expression of shame or even apology when talking in the stroreroom about it in last nights highlights.

The other reason he should have been told to go is as I have said before,he has already been told before to control his temper and actions.
This time he went a step nearer to assaulting someone, that should have been, enough is enough and he should have been sent packing.
