If they could the producers would have had the lines open until midnight to try save him.. Not even the hatchet jobs on Harry or Jack could save him!!!! Shame it didn't pay off, BYE MARQ Wine anyone?

I think it must've been really close if they thought opening it for an extra 15 minutes would help.

I nearly didn't watch tonight because I was so pessimistic about Marc leavig. Marc fans targeting jack when Harry probably had more votes than him was a blessing.

Not the rigging flopping At least the rigging worked with Helen.. I guess Marc is too much of a flop

The show producers knew actually what they was getting from marc, the eviction of him was always on the cards. No edit over the last three days could wipe the last four weeks of him. | ||

It's hardly a shock or achievement. He's pretty much the only semi relevant HM of the lot that evokes any emotion.

Erm. I'm quite sure they thought he was disposable this week..given they didn't freeze the lines, which would have meant a guaranteed save | ||

They kept him in for a good month or so longer than he should have stayed and by the sounds of this next timebomb he wont be needed anyway. Fixing turned out pretty successful for them.

The hatchet edits were obviously geared at a Harry/Jack exit tonight and it failed on their part, sure they pocketed some cash but they still wanted Marc in for the manufactured repeated arguments he brought
