Default First time No Fireworks due to Lightning
Lightning and Thunder stopped the very End of the show.



The Rain got Nicks hair Good.

Not bad luck. The final was hosted on Thursday instead of Friday, because the weather report said 'rain on Thursday'.

An excuse not to pay Ł50,000 on fireworks.

I actually quite liked the ending. It made a change from the usual 'please welcome back your winner/let's play the next track off the NOW album' fireworks display that we usually get. Obviously I'd have preferred the fireworks but C5 usually murder that part of the finale like they have with all of the other parts, so it was kind of refreshing to have something low key like that for a change.
