If so, was it painful? How was the recovery?

I've had my wisdom teeth out and it wasn't pleasant!
Rinse your mouth out with warm salt water 24 hours after surgery 5 to 6 times a day, don't vigorous rinse, rinse gently. Eat foods that are soft and easily digested such as soup, ice cream, yogurt, also drink plenty but not with a straw as this could dislodge the blood clot. Use ice packs applied to the side of the face, this will help with swelling, also take painkillers. It took a week for my pain to resolve, and 2 weeks before i was eating normal, take it easy, rest and no vigorous exercise. Hope you're feeling better soon ![]() |

I looked like a hamster after I'd had mine out. It was painful for a couple of days, but manageable. Good advice from rubymoo regarding food and drink.
