Boyband members are not actually that well known by the general public. I remember an episode of Pointless from a while ago where not that many people (one of the lowest answers) knew that Harry Styles was in One Direction.

Probably a reporter that put the bet on just to get a story and if he does not go in, the bet is void as a non runner anyway. No way would he do CBB, it would be personal suicide. Harry would be better in there as the Nickeroff strickly bimbo would defo play hide the sausage with him. In fact, I am wondering who she will set her hat at as soon as the doors open, she certainly likes a bit of nookie and 3 weeks might get to her.

I checked the episode and it was 18 out of 100 knew he was in One Direction. So not that many.

That's really surprising, that episode is from 6 years ago though, I wonder if it would be different if they asked it today?

Yeah, I noticed it says 2009 - and that couldn't be right as the X Factor with 1D was in 2010. I think the episode is really from 2012, but yeah, they are probably a bit more known now.
