Not to mention the kiddie squad fronted by Kane the laughable roadman and which culminated in Liam prancing off into the sunset to Little Mix. It was like watching something out of CBeebies.

I don't think attempting to educate 7 million people about the harsh reality of London gangs works when it's juxtaposed by by stories about a snake finding its way into Dot's handbag or a pair of insipid cousins babbling some shit about how much they love each other.

Newman's the only producer who made me stop watching for weeks on end. Even Kirkwood's abysmal era never sunk quite as low (Shaggerman aside).

I think it was Barbara Windsor's idea to kill her off.

I don't think you could run out of plausible ways, her family live on the square. As long as they are then that's all the reason she ever needed for showing up.
