Yes I'd say the golden era started with BB5 and ended with CBB5

Yes. Well imo they're part of the golden era anyway. CBB3-5 are often overlooked by BB5-7 because BB was the main event back then and was better/garnered more interest than CBB. But I still include them as part of the golden era because they aired in between the golden BB series and ratings, production, atmosphere, and overall press attention were still on a high during those celebrity series.

Another reason why I also consider them part of the golden era is because the eyes/houses for those series matched the ones for BB5-7. For example, I associate CBB3 with BB5, CBB4 with BB6, CBB5 with BB7.

Like Jamie said the golden era started with BB5 and ended with CBB5. If you watch CBB5's launch, it still felt atmospheric and still had that buzz and excitement to it that BB5-7 launches had. It wasn't really till BB8/post-BB8 where the rot began to set in.

CBB5 isn't in the golden era. CBB5 ruined BB as a show, it's laughable to call it the golden era!!!!!! The golden era is BB5, CBB3, BB6, CBB4, and BB7. The rot set in at the end of BB7 with all thw twists that finally blew up in there face in CBB5.

I wasn't keen on the massive living space in BB10, it all seemed a bit bland. BB6 was great and CBB4 was even better. BB7 was nice, but I'm bias because it's my favourite series so when I think of the house I automatically love it really. BB11 wasn't too bad but I think to some extent the housemates affect how I feel about the house design. If I like the house but the housemates are awful, I automatically dislike the house design, and this is how it was with BB11.

Least favourite is probably BB12, it was so bland and tacky
