The Sheriff's department says Prince was found in an elevator at Paisley Park. They performed CPR, but were unable to revive him. He was pronounced dead on the scene at 10:07 AM Central Time.

It still hasn't sunk in for me. I'm still so shocked.

Edit: The last song he sung was Purple Rain.

I wouldn't be surprised if there's some more twists in the story of how he died, nothing's ever that simple with Prince.

I know it's silly to care about things like this but it's sad to see the only time acts like him are going to chart now are when they die... I know expecting all of the legends to regularly do well in the charts is naive with how varied music is today but there's something a bit macabre about the masses only really bothering to listen to them when they pass I guess it could just be a reminder though, so whatever gets them listening... I guess...

Unfortunately, Prince's music wasn't ever going to reach those who've never heard much of him before whilst he was alive. His dislike of the internet stopped his music appearing on the likes of Youtube and Spotify.

A lot of artists of yesteryear still have their albums appear in iTunes charts.

There possibly is. Look up on Twitter 'Blind Gossip'. I don't want to post about it as 1. I hope that truly isn't the cause of his death as it'll be even more terrible and 2. I don't want to turn this thread into that subject.

Prince was treated for a drug overdose 6 days before his death ... multiple sources tell TMZ.

Multiple sources in Moline tell us, Prince was rushed to a hospital and doctors gave him a "save shot" ... typically administered to counteract the effects of an opiate.

Our sources further say doctors advised Prince to stay in the hospital for 24 hours. His people demanded a private room, and when they were told that wasn't possible ... Prince and co. decided to bail. The singer was released 3 hours after arriving and flew home.

We're told when Prince left he "was not doing well."

His autopsy will take place later today.

Beiber is not actually talentless,just because you don't like him doesn't make it true,there is no proof he even said this, people who hate him or are jealous will post such stuff,obviously not everyone ignores it.
