This pisses me off, calling someone a 'feminist icon' because she stands up to one obnoxious person? A feminist (and I don't mean the rabid types who want to castrate all men) stands on her own feet and doesn't rely on others for her basic needs, which is what a parasite like Cass does. If Tim didn't do it and no one else stepped in, Cass wouldn't even know how to feed herself.

She stood up for herself against a man who was deliberately trying to intimidate her - as he has done with many female houseguests - by sitting next to her when there were plenty of other available seats. She didn't succumb to his tactics, and proceeded to bait him and show him that she wasn't going to allow him to do as he wishes.

Not only that, but her rant a few weeks ago about his reaction to Kelsey kissing Nick in a game of spin the bottle was absolutely incredible. 'Nobody can look at you! Nobody can talk to you!' and 'when they think of you as a possession that's when you gotta cut, cut, cut, cut, CUT THEM' are particular highlights.

Cass is a perfect example of a strong, confident woman and is thus most definitely in the reality television world - a feminist icon.

I agree that there are parts of Cass that are admirable. The ones you have quoted being the case. But that hardly makes her a feminist icon. If she wasn't so lazy and was more self sufficient in her daily life I might agree with you.

Nah, still very much dislike her. She has done good this week, but she is still on the blacklist for me and i would be happy to see her go on Thursday in DE.
