Default Rangers: Mark Warburton signs three-year deal as manager



Former Brentford boss Mark Warburton has signed a three-year deal with Rangers to become the Scottish Championship club's new manager.


The 52-year-old Englishman will be assisted by Rangers' former captain, David Weir, who has also signed a three-year contract, the pair having worked together at Griffin Park.

His press conference was great, saying he wants a young team with 1 or 2 older players and he is a strong believer in passing football and playing it from the back which i like, he is off to the Euro under 21s this week to scout

Smallest Boy LT will be going to his first Cup Final on Saturday against Edinburgh Celtic or Hibs as they are also called

Hopefully Mark will deliver us this win and we can look to next season in the prem

Default Good and bad hibs fans
Disgraceful Hibs fans on the pitch yesterday taunting the Rangers fans who showed remarkable restraint, well a few went on and battered some hibs hooligans (at one point i did think it could have been a riot and thought about getting small boy LT away but he was too fascinated)

Rangers Statement:

Rangers Football Club is shocked at the disgraceful behaviour of Hibs fans at full-time,’ the statement read.
‘Rangers players and staff were assaulted by these fans who invaded the pitch and in the interest of their safety could not return to the pitch for the medal presentation.

I wouldnt get too far up on your high horse horse trumpet.
I hear one of the videos sent to the police by sky sports was of a dirty little scumbag rangers fan punching a woman in the face and knocking her out cold.

Not that it will happen but Hibs need the book thrown at them for that. Same thing happened with Motherwell in the play-off last year, and basically there was no punishment.
