yeah, like I don't think season has has reached 16's depths of awfulness just yet (though there is a chance) but even 16 wasn't that bad at this point. I remember the first two weeks of BB16 being like "oh this is okay so far" and then the next two weeks it turned into "oh this is actually shaping up to be pretty bad" and then I don't think it was until the last minute Zach/Jocasta vote flip and the Double Eviction that I was fully hating 16. Whereas BB18 has been bad pretty much since the start.

IDK, I won't feel confident saying this is worse than BB16 until we get an end game as bad as the Jordeff proposal and the Rewind Week but we're definitely on our way there. My biggest problem with the episodes is that something like that Nicole dreaming about the Hitmen scene, that's something you put in the F3 recap as a never before scene moment. That is not something you put in Week 6 when the first juror is about to be decided.

They like to throw some comedy-type scenes in there which I think is fine. The Muffin Man thing actually had a bit to do with the storyline too of Paul kinda getting himself in with the house - even if the muffins in particular have nothing to do with that it gives you the idea of people liking Paul now and taking the target off his back.

I'd rather something like that or the Nicole dream & the guys teasing her rather than another James prank or some ****.

okay I know you like Paul but the muffin scene had nothing to do with gameplay lmao no viewers are sitting at home crediting Paul's current position in the game as a result of his baking prowess.

And I don't mind if they throw in comedy scenes if they're actually funny? The only one I remember actually being worthwhile was last year's Sigmund Freud. All the other "comedy" scenes are just random and out of place, littered with obnoxious visual effects and sound bytes, and marked with a cheesy hashtag. I'd take a ****ing James prank every episode, at least those only take 30 seconds.

I said it's not the muffin baking in particular but they used that little scene to show generally what Paul is trying to do. So in the background they had Paul talking about how he's trying to get on people's good side and what not. You get the idea with a funny short scene even if the baking directly doesn't mean anything (and yes I think it was a bit amusing; but not hilarious or anything).

The preview to the episode today I do find funny.

Also kinda given up (May continue if Day is evicted and then returns) - None of the cast seem root able (apart from Nat) and I just hate the Paulie/Paul/Victor/Corey group.
