I think you should tell him your feelings, ( i know thats easier sad than done) and if he respects you,in the way that you respect him, and if he is a really good friend, he will understand.

so i say tell him how you feel,

im not good withg iving people advice though soo..

Lol. But it's not as if I can just ring him and say "I love you" and hang up, is it? IT would be really hard.

If he's definitely straight, I don't see what you'd get from telling him? I think you should keep it to yourself.

I dont think you should tell him. If hes straight hes hardly goin to say ok, I know people are saying that if he respects you n stuff it will be fine but people arent all like that. He may get uncomfortable and you could lose any friendship you 2 have

I completely understand, I'm a decent guy, I was really surprised and confused I didn't know what to think at that moment. He was a good friend but I always asking "when he made me a compliment, is the friend or the lover who's talking ?".
If you have to do it, be really careful I know what I'm talking about.

That's exactly what happened with me, now we don't talk to each other, we aren't angry against each other it's just we took some distance from each other as I know what he was feeling, I didn't want to have any problems with my girlfriend. I respect him a lot and I aprreciate what he said but sometimes even if you are aware or decent, even if you understand, you're feeling embarrassed in front of that situation.

I would rather he find out himself than me having him to tell him. Maybe I could keep dropping hints, and if he has any tact, he will put 2 and 2 together and realise.

I hate to sound mean but i dont think that hardly anyone whos Straight is in a position to give advice, because its hard to be empathetic.

I've been in a similar position before, from my opinion don't tell.. things would only get messy, you can say its better to tell the truth but it isnt,
