Hold on a minute... look how young Carl was... Wut! Only like 2 years is supposed to have passed! Haha. The only way I can accept it is that he started out a very young looking 12 year old and is now supposed to be around 15, which I guess the actor could convincingly play (15/16) for years. American shows have 20+ year olds playing high school kids most of the time anyway I guess!

Finally catching up on the last few eps I fell behind with, just watched the one where they get Travis and Alicia back.

I liked how they made an (I assume intentional) reference to the comics with
Spoiler:

them sending Reed back as a zombie with a bag over his head, I read that Negan does the exact thing with an Alexandrian in the comics.

Celia's really reminding me of Hershel with her attitude towards walkers and keeping them locked up (and feeding live animals to them ), but a much darker version who casually poisons people.

She's a really interesting character, just about to watch the mid-season finale but I hope she survives.

...a good first episode....I didn't mind that it was all about Nick because he's my favourite character and it's an interesting slant that he wants to find the Walker 'spirits' and feels some kind of connection to them...and I think some of the survivors at the new camp will be interesting as well...




...ahhhhhh, zombies again, it's like coming home....I've missed those critters...

..yeah that creeped me out a bit as well, Samm... and maybe Celia's right when she protects them/their 'spirits'...mind you, I was thinking that it was probably hallucinating as well because he'd walked around 60 or so miles through Mexico with only really a few drops of water each day...I would drink that whole bottle he had in an afternoon on a warm day here.....

..I wasn't sure what her name was but yeah, I think she's going to be a good character...I loved the flashbacks and finding out about his dad and obviously Nick had things 'unresolved' with his dad as well...when he was watching the dogs being killed on the roof of the car and kind of smiling, he seems to have a real connection with death and I wonder if his need to believe Celia with the Walker spirits and to find them is to somehow connect with his dad again....

..I love Nick's character so much..:loveup:..and I hope that he doesn't become all about survival too quickly because I love the different slant of him being such a caring person...I did think it was out of character that he took the cake bar but hadn't thought that it would be for the child and 'she needed SOMETHING'......(I still didn't understand fully why her dad was fed to the wall, even when Liza explained it...was he ill/dying anyway..?..I liked Madison and Strand together as well and the bond they seem to be forming but I'm not sure that they would really be able to fend off the swarm with all that they had been drinking....another good episode...

..it was a good episode, I enjoyed it..I did think that it was Madison at first../the Walker.....it is starting to feel a little samey though with TWD characters ...Elena and Father Gabriel and Chris and Carl..although with Carl it was Walkers, Chris is going straight in there with the humans as well, which is a bit of a worry...

Just watched the last episode. Really enjoyed it, one of the best of the season. I really like Elena (and there's been no new additions to the group since Strand so let her join tbh).

..a little bit of a slower episode but I enjoyed it and NO Chris as well..it did feel at the end though that it was quite abrupt and I wasn't sure if I didn't have the full vid or something because it ended mid conversation with Nick and Luciana...I'm loving their developing friendship....and also the friendship between Madison and Victor...
