Well what I can gather from a google search is her mother and Paul got together when Bianca was 4 and he adopted both her and her brother. This is what she said about the biological dad :

Love Island star Bianca Gascoigne has spoken about her real father.

That's not my point. What I dislike is that over the years since their divorce they have willingly gone to the press and drag his name.
If my husband had beaten me...I too would divorce him...I would also take back my maiden name and change my daughters name too especially as she wasn't biologically his.
If Bianca has a father/daughter relationship with him as any adoptive father/daughter would then fair enough...keep his name. However, she has slagged him off in the past (and I can't blame her if her mother was treated badly)....but get rid of the name if you dislike him that much, she has no need or obligation to carry his name...but then without it she wouldn't be on these shows...to me it's in bad taste.
I know several people that have seen their parents go through a nasty divorce and cut themselves off from their fathers...and change their name to their mothers maiden name. Who knows what has happened with the Jolie/Pitts nothing to stop any of them changing their surname after the divorce..adopted or not.

sorry, I just find this thread exasperating Yes I agree that it's annoying when children of celebs get famous solely because of that, that I certainly agree with, I just find it awful how she's being accused of of stealing his name when he's not even a her real dad when that's not very fair to her or adopted kids in general tbh

Fair enough. I just find people like Calum and Marcus Jnr and Bianca a bit pathetic for not accomplishing anything themselves and seeking fame through someone elses name.

And that would be your choice but not everyone wants to bother changing their names and why should they have to? My mother and father got divorced and she never changed her name back to her maiden

No we definitely agree on that I can assure you, I just don't think she should be singled out as more of a fraud when as much as they never chose their parents neither did Bianca choose to be adopted by Paul

Yes he has...but the difference is that George Best was his biological dad AND he loved him and has never slated him or dragged his name through the mud when he was at his lowest point....

One of my husbands kids isn't his by blood but he is his dad through and through. His biological father decided before he was born that he wanted nothing to do with him and aged 18 Gavin took this kid on as his own. The child has known nowt else.

Lets hope he never ends up in the public eye with some of the bile spouted on this thread eh...

Well that's great that he now has a dad in your husband. I admire and respect anyone who takes on a child that isn't biologically theirs. I'm sure it isn't easy in some cases. I hope their relationship is a good father and son one.
Unfortunately in real life things are not always cut and dried. You simply cannot compare one situation against another.
You can't compare your ex husbands adoption to the situation of Biancas adoption...because their relationship didn't work out...you can't compare the Jolie/Pitts adoptions and pending divorce situation to Biancas situation years ago.

I am not aware of their present relationship...and if they are getting on now then that's great to hear. I based my opinion of how only a few years back and on a couple of occasions they publicly kicked Paul Gascoine when he was at a low point...so based on those facts I stand by my opinion.
If they have a good relationship now then that's just great and that changes my debate.
