A flurry of allegations about Dyer have been debunked ever since the BBC announced last week that the Mick Carter actor was taking a voluntary hiatus from Albert Square.

EastEnders previously denied reports that Danny had fallen out with Adam Woodyatt (Ian Beale) and Steve McFadden (Phil Mitchell), calling him a "consummate professional" who has never "lost his temper or been rude to anyone at work".

Now with The Sun claiming that Danny had an all-out 'behind-the-scenes feud' with McFadden and even rowed with Steve's on-screen brother Ross Kemp at the National Television Awards last month, EastEnders is once again trying to set the record straight.
