Oh my god yes please. I actively avoid going into that section now because of the ridiculous amount of trump threads. I only click on a SD thread if its in the 'new threads' bit. We seem to have a new thread each time trump farts. Its a little silly. yes he is an important person at the moment but ffs enough is enough...

I don't think we need to consolidate all news into one thread. People (namely me) can't be arsed reading all of the "Popstar Appreciation Threads" for any news on them as it is.

Just be grateful that forum is active.

However, there are users that will make multiple threads on the same subject because of their infatuation with their own ego. See: Liberty4eva (pretty much every thread he's ever made, but in particular this most recent one about Sweden)

I agree, and it doesn't mean she doesn't read SD either. It's not an exclusive club.

Most Trump threads do end up being about the same thing and you realise about halfway down a page you're reading the same comments you've read in another thread so I support this idea!

I think its a good suggestion. Theres one main thread for Brexit, its pinned to the top and it gets regular activity. Obviously huge news should get its own thread, but most Trump threads haven't been huge news, they can all be merged and nobody would miss them.
