Her and her hubby almost certainly knowingly signed up for multiple accounts to get multiple free bets / multiple free entries to a tournament, to be honest. It happens all the time. Sucks for people who think they have won, but I don't buy for a second that they didn't know they were opening multiple accounts.

.Basically,it either has to be that there are rules to stop people abusing the opening offers, or they don't have opening offers at all . Though I'd personally advocate for the latter.

. He'll have had his own account and then signed up for another in her name. I doubt she placed the bet or even knew anything about it until he tried to withdraw the cash and they wanted her ID . If they still wouldn't give the money then it's almost certain that he had other multiples.Quote:

At the end of the day though... there is an ombudsman for the gambling industry that is completely impartial. They should take it to them. If the ombudsman declares that the account wasn't valid then there's really no argument... they have no inclination to side with the bookmaker over the customer, they look at the situation objectively. A guy came into ours ranting and raving that another bookies weren't going to pay them on a Ł27k payout... gave them the info for contacting the ombudsman and they did end up getting their money. Can take a while, though. But there's no reason to bother taking it to court... I mean, you CAN, if the ombudsman rejects the claim, but it would be very rare for a court to overturn that decision since - as I said - the ombudsman is going on the simple facts and has no reason to side one way or the other. |

Actually I bet she does think it's all unfair and not right so is kicking up a storm, and he's sat upstairs knowing fine well that he was being dodgy
. I notice he is conspicuously absent from the photographs and comments...

She knows fine and well what went on, they tripped up by not using different debit cards, it sucks, but you click the little box to abide by the rules

I bet they made the accounts a few years ago as well and have only been using the main one ever since.
