However Irn Bru is delicious and everyone knows it. When I worked in England we replaced the Fanta in the customer vending fridge with Irn Bru. Instant best seller, started outpacing Coke within 2 months. Mighty bru.

Where I was brought up the generic name was a can of ginger

or ba-broo for irn bru
