I know I'm one of the only people actively defending this season but I like it, sorry! Like, the worst part is that a vast majority of the cast feel like knock-offs of previous contestants, but they aren't bad knock-offs if that makes any sense? And I do think we have a few unique and interesting characters like Ben and Lauren and they're both surely making the finale?

The double ep really rejuvenated actually, which is funny bc one it finished I was depressed bc I got my hopes up for a Ryan boot and only got a JP boot, and then the Joe boot was pretty clear-cut. But now that I've had a few days to let it all soak in, I actually really like the Ashley/Ben/Devon/Lauren thing and I think they're probably the four most likable people left? And even then Mike is just an awkward weirdo hanging on by a thread and Chrissy is FINALLY getting the edit she deserves

like, reading the exit interviews makes it clear that Chrissy could have been an ICONIC villainess if she was fully shown in the edit, but we finally got a taste of it when she choked on her own tears and insisted that she'll have the last laugh, and then did have the last laugh with Joe and snubbed him on his way out.

Ryan is really the only one I'm having huuuuuge problems with, and I think we all know why. He just sucks. His delivery in his one-liners and self-deprecation is just painfully awkward and forced, like he clearly scripted lines before the show and is just desperately trying to shoehorn them in because it's like Day 30 and he still has plenty of material left to use. Not to mention him being PERSONALLY INSULTED that Ashley and Devon aka "two 25 year old surfers" outplayed him when A) he literally handpicked Devon as His Person bc he perceived him as a dumb surfer dude, and B) YOU ARE 23 YEARS OLD, HUMAN!!!!!!

^ I probably agree with you on that more than usual but I don't particularly like this season because of it.

Give me MvGx instead any day but this one is not bad either.

I've actually enjoyed this season a lot in parts but then have also found it very bland/meh in probably an equal amount of parts. Depends how it finishes out (as I think it COULD be a painful finish) but I prefer this season over Game Changers as well.

^ At this point it´s clear she´s going to win tbh.

Final nail to the coffin was her sister hugging Jeff before Lauren herself.

Adding to that she is having a lot of narratives and her talking to herself about her strategy. More so than any of the others left.
