This Lewis thing is different to both, and people didn’t like that. Even two out of two Lewis fans on this thread have told you that they didn’t like it!
Maybe the difference is between a cloud of doubt and complete transparency, but people typically hate the rigging.
Also I think you need to understand that a very large chunk of the viewers really do not want to watch people that they hate. Even if they’re loud and argumentative or dominating the highlights. Most people dislike watching people they dislike - viewers don’t need saving from themselves, they know what they want and do not want to watch. It may be different to the things that’s you enjoy watching. You should have understood that by now! I feel like I’ve told you this every 6 months for the past 4 or 5 years!

I'm not talking about the fake eviction, I'm talking about the manipulation of nominations. When Billi and Charley were punished in week 4, their nominations were voided and subsequently neither her nor Nicky faced eviction that week - and in week 7, Chanelle and Ziggy were restricted to one nom each, had it been two Charley would've had 4 in total and faced the public vote. People look back on this fondly and laugh about it, my point was producer manipulation has been going on for well over a decade, it's nothing new, and when it benefits people's favourites they don't care all that much.
Re: the Issy thing, that's not true at all. The initial reaction was "ugh this means she's going to go", and when it became clear it was actually engineered to save her, suddenly it was a great idea - and when people have discussed her win in the months that have passed, they've commended the producers for saving her
There will always be exceptions to the rule and some people who genuinely don't want any producer manipulation, that's fine (though I disagree), but those people are in the minority on here I'm afraid so it makes no difference to this discussion.
And viewers also need to understand that it's the people they hate that are (often) providing the content and driving the narrative, giving everybody something to talk about. People love to hate people, villains and antagonists make television shows - can you imagine a soap or a drama without them? It's why the whole setup of BBUK is flawed and outdated (and has been for years), once these people are gone via vote to evict there's very little to talk about and that's not good for the show at all - have you noticed the ratio of positive to negative threads on here each year?
People can think what they like, all I'm doing is posting my opinion and have been saying the same things for the best part of a decade. Of course I think my opinion is right, it wouldn't be much of one if I didn't would it? I've said that time and time again, I've repeated these same arguments over and over again, people know where I stand, I know where others stand, that's really all there is to it. It's not me that needs to understand that!
