Well done Roy
![]() ![]() One of Cork's most famous faces has helped out one of the city's most-loved charities this Tuesday, and it's all very heart-warming in fairness. Roy Keane popped into Cork Penny Dinners HQ this afternoon to help some students make up sandwiches. Sharing a snap of the Man United legend, Caitriona Twomey, Volunteer Coordinator of Penny Dinners, said he is "seriously such a fantastic person". "Plenty of sandwiches being prepared today with the girls of St. Angela’s and Roy who seriously is such a fantastic person," she said. "When it comes to kindness he’s in a league of his own." Fans may recall when Keano lent a hand last November at Little Hanover Street, and Caitriona said he had a "mighty heart" for helping the busy volunteers ![]() Penny Dinners have been helping the people of Cork since they were founded as a soup kitchen during the famine. Volunteers have started going beyond the kitchen by providing a 'Knight Rider' service that brings hot meals to the homeless and vulnerable on bikes. They are always looking for help, volunteers, and support - and you can get in touch via their website. https://www.corkbeo.ie/news/local-ne...kWtiaSy4q0Ex3I
