I am jacked off with the powers that be that run BB, it happens every year and increasingly so. You can see where they are coming from, it's all about viewer ratings and if they percieve that p s u x y and z are more interesting than a b c d f g and h. then they are going to be under enormous pressure to keep them in and I guess it does say that BB can make the rules up as they go along.
Having said that, what makes them think that, let's say if Lisa or Bea or Marcus or Siavash or Sophie had gone the house wouldn't have take on a total different dynamic and would have been just as interesting in other ways? As it was Marcus and Bea were up for eviction and imho, one of them should have gone and it wouldn't have made a slight difference to the enjoyment of watching the programme, I reiterate, the house would have taken off in a different way. You could argue that by keeping Bea in, it harms Freddie's chance of winning, and if Marcus had gone, then the controling factor in the house would have been removed and a power vacuum would have arisen, and it would have been interesting to see who would have been calling the shots. You could see from last week, that they were determined to have a 'save the house mates week' this week, whatever happened. Tampering with the workings too much, methinks. |
