Really, he knows how to work the public after watching BB so much in the past, and yes of course he does care about what the public think because he know that they are the 1s who are going to crown the winner. Also he goes on about people being in the house to further their career or are there to win it, so exactly why has he come all the way to the UK if he's not looking for the same thing.

He knows that the girls might fancy him and that us girls are the 1s that vote the most, so he has got a strong possibilty of winning, why else would he come here and onto BB, it's all about the money for every single person that comes onto BB and not just the experience, why else would half of them stay in the house when they are bored senseless or are missing the people on the outside world, again because of the money they could win or make after the show.

Also, the 1s that protest the most about not being concerned about what the public think about them or about winning, for eg, JJ, are the 1s that do really care about all that stuff, so no it's not the first admiral thing that JJ has said so far, he's just clever at playing the public, and knows what we like to hear.
