Dannii Minogue has revealed that she would have made the same decision as Cheryl Cole if she was put in her position on last week's X Factor.

Cole refused to vote when both of her acts were in the bottom two but fellow judge Minogue has defended her decision not to choose.

Minogue told official show magazine X: "I would do the same as Cheryl if it was two of my acts.

"There's no way I could send one home. I think you have to put yourself in her shoes. I said to Simon backstage, 'You could do it, but none of us could do it'."

More than 1,000 viewers complained to Ofcom and ITV after Cole decided not to pick between hopefuls Katie Waissel and Treyc Cohen, who was eventually sent home.


As much as I can't stand Cheryl, Dannii wouldn't be slated as much as she did that IMO.
