On four occasions last night at the Brits all 5 members of One Direction were split up.

The first occasion was at the beginning of the show James Corden went down the aisle where all the tables of music people were. When the One Direction table was seen Niall and Harry were separated from the other 3 by a management figure I expect. Then when they realised that they were on camera the mangement person moved to where Harry was sitting meaning that all 5 boys were sitting together as a five-piece rather than a segregated 3/2 piece.

Also, and prehaps even more telling, is when he band received the prize for Best Music Video and as they exited the stage 3 members (I believe Niall, Liam and Zayn but not hold me as account to that) went off the normal way that most people were leaving. However the other two members (Harry and Louis) went the other way were Jimmy Carr was meaning that the 5 of them did not leave the stage together.

Furthermore, when they won Global Success Awards, only 4 members managed to get up to the stage leading Liam to scan the crowd for Harry who had not gone up to the stage with them. When he came back on stage he told the crowd and us the viewer that he had been to the toilet. This was in fact false as he was outside having a cigarette with Nick Grimshaw. Maybe he couldn't be bothered to pick up an award only tailored for them to pick up?

Finally, after the show had ended it has emerged that only Harry, Niall and Liam left together/at the same time. Zayn and Louis left at different time furthering the case that an argument has ripped the band in two.

Coincidence or proof of a rift within a group (mainly caused by Harry) who prizes themselves of being 5 close friends?
