When I think about his edit I guess it doesn't make the most sense for Alec to win when he went from needing to get with the Davids to now being Goliath strong. But he might still have time since he did say things like "when the moment is right" or "when the Goliaths crumble"

I agree though it's felt more like a David win since the theme was presented... unless it's being pushed so much that it's actually the opposite
