They won't announce the placements (and they aren't terribly important anyway) until the first week or two of January, but these are the ten artists who've made the cut... previous winners of the title include Adele, Ellie Goulding, HAIM, Sam Smith, Years & Years and Keane.

Bree Runway will hopefully snatch the title; she's excellent. And I was incredibly mortified to discover Alfie Templeman is only 17 because... reasons... Griff is currently doing the rounds in Disney's christmas advert, so there's some familiarity; whilst Dutchavelli and Girl in Red have already amassed views in the multi-millions.
