They said they wanted privacy to live their lives the way they want, releasing what they want. They never asked for media blackout. The press will run with what they want and as we discussed at the beginning of this thread, they don't really care about legal action so there is no way they will ever get all the privacy they crave but they have the right to launch legal action if they believe a line has been crossed
The tabloids chose to run it....they weren't obliged to but they do because they know Meghan and Harry = sales
