[An anti-anxiety drug which is prescribed
to more than eight million people in Britain has been linked to thousands of deaths in the past five years, it has been revealed. Concerns have been raised about the impact of pregabalin, which is used by doctors to treat anxiety, as well as epilepsy and nerve pain, with one saying prescribing it is like 'selling a car without brakes'.
