It's not very difficult to understand, lol. But just to help:

I began to realise when I was twelve. I had been called gay by the majority of my classmates by that time anyway. The reasons for this were 1. I didn't play soccer (Vile sport, I'd sooner kill myself) and 2.The majority of my friends were girls.

Also because I was about ten times more intelligent then them. (I'm not being snooty, we took an IQ test).
