But I was ecstatic that Gareth made the top 3 voted by the public.

He got like a 10 second video clip in the Audition and was one of the underdogs to get through, he proved how great he was tonight and the public saw this and discarded Jamie Pugh and his sob story for a more talented act.

Of course, he wouldn't get past the judges as they already have their 'chosen ones' but the fact the public saw how good Gareth the underdog was made me really happy.

Anybody else joyed by this or am I just really, really sad? LOL
