Default Manchester United setting a good example?

So Fergie has refused to go shopping in an over inflated market. I think this shows alot of character and is a compliment to the EPL. I think If all teams start spending over the odds like madrid it could have ruined the transfer market for years to come. I just think for a huge team like united to say no to ridicilous fees (considering they had 100m in the bank) is a very respectable move.
