So in other words, people who practice this don't go **** one or more different people every day. Or cruise bars looking for a one night stand. They mostly have long term respectful relationships with their lovers. It is just that they have more than one lover. One example was a "family" where there was one man and two women. They were all lovers with each other and had lived together for 14 years.

Not in the traditional sense, no. But I think I understand what she means. She was trying to say that she didn't jump into bed with someone. She has said that, for her, sex is a spiritual thing and I know she mentioned previously that she was tantric so that makes sense. I think she meant that she doesn't have casual sex. So, even though she may have more than one lover, each lover is a long term committed relationship. Know what I mean? (obvious, I can't read her mind, but that was my interpretation)
