Interesting article in today's Sun Online about Girls Aloud miming to their No. 1 single on the Top of the Pops Xmas Show - CLICK HERE to read it - while One True Voice sang live.

Chris says he may force bands to sing live on TOTP — if fans agree.

Of course fans agree! Bet some of today's artists will be quaking in their boots at the thought, though.

Except Will Young, of course - he ALWAYS sings live . . . . . . he says it's because he forgets the words and would be out of synch with the backing tape, but the real reason is simply because he CAN!!!

Oh, and I have to say that up until now, One True Voice have always sang live. Such a pity that they were given such a poor song for their debut single by Pete.
