Default The news you have been dreading is here...

Twins Jedward are to strip for a racy ad campaign to get people to stop wearing furs.

X Factor stars John and Edward Grimes, 18, will peel off for People For The Ethical Treatment Of Animals.

A spokesman said: “Our Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur advert will Jed-ucate people.”

.”The 18-year-olds have been flattered by the invitation to show off their whippet-like frames.

A source told celebrity blogger Perez Hilton they jumped at the chance to get their kit off.

“When PETA approached them, they didn’t think twice. They’re naturally fit guys and are proud of their bodies. They were really flattered to have been asked.”

But Perez, who is the king of Hollywood gossip, has poked fun at the X-Factor finalists’ bid to turn themselves into sex symbols.

“Hilarious! - Take it off, boys,” he said.

PETA approached the stars in a letter which first surfaced on April 1 but many cast off initial reports as an April Fool’s Day joke.

Fans were shocked that the X-Factor losers and their over the top hair would be an attractive target for the high-profile campaign.

But the lads had said in a previous interview they supported the anti-fur cause, which caught PETA bosses’ attention.

PETA’s UK special projects manager Yvonne Taylor: Thy’re the first twins to appear in “Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur” ad campaign in order to “jeducate” people.
