Nothing in excess

It's a bit of a national embarrassment that the ratings for the show are so huge, even compared to the X-Factor.
I would take the moral highground and say Britain's Got Talent is the modern incarnation of a Victorian circus freakshow, the kind that probably kidnapped John Merrick... but that's not really possible being as I am a Big Brother viewer.
