And the lucky ones are:

Leaders: Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva- President of Brazil.

Heroes: Bill Clinton - US President from 1993 to 2001.

Artists: Lady Gaga - Superstar.

Thinkers: Zaha Hadid - Irakian architect.

Overall, the World's Most Influential person is Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva who takes the crown from the head of the 2009 title holder, Edward Kennedy.

Special mentions have been awarded to the 2008 Republican candidate Sarah Palin, the football player from Ivory Coast Didier Drogba and the International Monetary Fund managing director Dominique Strauss-Kahn.
