¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I mean gameshows always used to be quite friendly, quite simple and polite - The Price is Right, Generation Game, Catchphrase, etc.
But now every single daytime TV show seems to have an element of conniving and being-an-unreliable-and-nasty-twat-about-it element that's not really pleasant to watch. Look at Goldenballs. What the hell? The Weakest Link, where everyone's demoralised and insulted by a **** one chromosome away from the reptile kingdom. And there's "Divided" on ITV1 at the moment, hosted by a tit in the form of Andrew Castle, where there's pauses to ask each player "who do you think is the most annoying?" - oh well that's conducive to a good team morale. And all of these shows are so determined to present each contestant as a life story now. Take Deal or No Deal, everyone has a bloody sob story and whilst I'm sure that's all very emotional for the placatable and balls-less populace, I don't particularly care. If I wanted to watch an irritating twerp have a shot at an unreasonable amount of money for someone of their calibre, I'd stick to Big Brother thanks.
