Most of the public seems to be on his side so he will survive nominations apart from against Corin or Steve, he has his little clan when theres no bitching going on to rally.. as long as he doesn't mess up or finally snap like Freddie did then he could win.

However maybe this new found popularity may eventually start to fizzle and a newbie could assert their authority in there and pip him to the post.
