Being unintelligent generally for me doesnt make someone unattractive, i find slow/ dappy/ blonde (stereotype) very cute and hot lol. My girlfriend is a bit dappy but it suits her and makes her more attractive, shes not dumb though..
You need both i think, like (as shallow as it sounds to you possibly) i wouldnt intentionally try to chat up a girl i thought was ugly if i had never met her before.
